The Embassy of Sri Lanka Riyadh handed over a set of ‘Ceylon Tea’ branded face mask for the staff of the LuLu Hyper Markets in Riyadh.
The LuLu Hyper Market is one of the leading world-class supermarket chains which promotes Ceylon tea in their 16 outlets in the Kingdom. While thanking the initiative made by the Embassy, Mr. Moiz Nuruddhin, the Regional Manager of the LuLu Hypermarkets in Riyadh Region said that this concept of Ceylon Tea dyed facemask is an ingenious novelty to promote Ceylon tea. He expressed his enthusiasm in utilizing these face masks for their promotional purposes.
The Ceylon Tea branded face mask has been dyed with the use of Ceylon Tea Dye which is a by-product of Ice Tea manufacturing. These innovative masks boast re-usability over thirty (30) times washes, naturally antimicrobial (AATCC 100), Bio-degradability, eco-friendliness and non-toxicity.
Mr. Madhuka Wickramarachchi, Charge d’Affairs of the Embassy donated the packs of these face masks to Mr. Shafeek Rahman, Commercial Manager of the Murabba Lulu Hypermarket. Mr. Sanjeewa Pattiwilla, Minister Counsellor (Commercial), Mr. Madhawa Deshapriya, Counsellor (Labour & Welfare) and Mr. Fazil Farook, Second Secretary (Citizenship Affairs) also associated at this event.
