Sri Lanka Tea Board organized the Ceylon Tea Pavilion at the 17th edition of the International Tea Fair in Hong Kong held from August 13th – 15th, 2026, to promote Ceylon Tea and its specialties. The Hong Kong International Tea Fair, renowned as Asia’s premier marketplace for the tea industry, facilitates connections among suppliers of tea and related products and buyers from across the globe.
Ceylon Tea Pavilion accommodated 07 booths for the Sri Lanka Tea Board and the following private sector export companies:

- Shan Teas (Pvt) Ltd
- Mabroc Teas (Pvt) Ltd
- Eswaran Brothers Exports (Pvt) Ltd
- F B G Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd
Showcase of 7 Regional Teas, Ceylon Tea Grades and Artisan Tea Display attracted strong interest from the visitors. Sri Lanka Tea Board provided visitors with an experiential opportunity, serving Ceylon Hot Tea and offering 7 regional samples that they admired.
The SLTB also participated in an Event Session at the Tea Salon on the second day of the Tea Fair to deliver an awareness session presenting “Sri Lanka’s Gift to the World-Ceylon Tea”.
Moreover, SLTB Officer was invited at the International Tea Competition as a Judge in the tasting panel which was organized by the official organizer parallel to the International Tea Fair 2026.
